Oktober Can Seamers and Oktober Crowler™ Can Seamers have a 2-week leadtime to ship.
The Oktober SL1 Homebrewer Can Seamer is designed to seam aluminum beverage cans with size 202 ends (tops) with the B64 style profile. SL1 Homebrewer comes standard with adapters for 16oz and 12oz cans. Because the seamer shares the same upper and lower chucks and adapters as MK16 can seamers, it can optionally be set up for CDL and SuperEnd® (360 end®) profile ends (excluding size 200 ends), as well as optional can sizes like 500ml, 8oz “stubby”, etc. There is also an option for 230V 50Hz power requirements (export model). Currently we are working on CE certification for the SL1; until that is complete we can’t ship seamers to Europe.
Our original idea in 2014 was to build a can seamer specifically for home brewers, and we have finally accomplished that goal. After building over 2000 of our Oktober MK series can seamers and crowler can seamers for professional breweries and businesses, we have learned a lot about what a can seamer absolutely needs, and what it can live without. It’s because of those realizations that we updated the design of the seaming rollers and placed them both on a single lever arm; fewer parts = less cost. The SL1’s frame and drive cover are also more utilitarian.
It’s not quite as pretty as the MK series, but it creates the same quality seams, and will do so for many years and many cheers.
What is the difference between the SL1 Homebrewer seamer and the MK16v2 Professional seamer?
The MK16v2 and SL1 can seamers share many components and features. Both produce the same high-quality seams. The MK16v2 is designed for professional businesses and continuous heavy use with simple quick daily maintenance. The SL1 was specifically designed for less frequent use and requires a bit more routine maintenance, making it less ideal for commercial applications.

We got to use the Oktober design can seamer and it is flawless, easy-to-use, a gamechanger, and truly a must-have for any brewery and even the serious homebrewer. We fell in love with the ease and look of the 16oz cans and the portability factor of crowlers. Can't wait to brew and can our next batch!Tiana Harris10/08/2018

If you're in the market for a can seamer for your brewery, taproom, bar, etc. look no further than Oktober. Their Mk16 covers 8, 12, and 16 oz. can options, and now just came out with the Mk32 for the 32 oz. format! Super simple to use, and the price simply can't be beat!Mark L. Curtis10/17/2017
The Can Seemer is awesome, and the guys and their support are awesome!Rockford Seth7/14/2017
Our can seamer is fantastic - we use it behind the bar and in the back on small scale canning runs together with a custom-built purge/fill system. The thing just runs like a champ and has helped our nanobrewery put some beer on shelves where no one would expect a tiny place like ours to have a few cans. Plus, having the ability to order a small amount of supplies every now and then instead of dropping 1K-2K on a can pallet is nice.Sean Galie1/06/2018
Oktober Can Seamers was awesome in dealing with my special request for an order. A quick response time and such great customer service! Thanks a lot!Nick Miller2/23/2018
Got my MK32 on recommendation from Rip Rap Brewing in Norfolk and couldn't be any happier! This thing is bad a$$!!!Darrell Cuenca6/25/2018
The MK16 is a beast! As a homebrewer I’ve started out with extract kits and bottling beers but that is in the past! I’ve converted to all grain brewing and now an official gypsy brewer traveling the world for collaborating on brews and its a blessing to be able to move from bottling to quick and simple ease of canning beers. This is a well designed piece of equipment that definitely turn heads when brought out or showcased on social media. With other seamers on the market there’s nothing more satisfying out there in my experience than the Oktober Design. Very excited to see there homebrewing option hitting the market too.Shannon Harris10/08/2018
